Raven Swap

I am in a Raven Swap at Swap-Bot.  These are the things I created.  There are ephemera transparencies, stationery, an altered 250 count matchbox, 4 ATCs, and some other collage pieces for her to use in her altered art.  I hope my partner likes her goodies.

Digi Collage

I am learning how to do digital collage work. 

As soon as I saw the photo of the woman sitting on the back end of a beautiful white horse, I knew I wanted to create something with the image.  The photo of the baby was an odd photo because it looked like the baby was sitting in the middle of nowhere and needed a home.  The woman had room for a baby on the horse with her and the baby needed a home.  I put the images together.  Then, I added text from a letter in which the reader was being informed of a tragedy in which lives were lost.  It made sense to me that in the midst of a great tragedy, this beautiful woman found great joy in the gift of a baby who needed a home.  So, I added the word "Joy" to the image.  Thus, one of my first digital collage pieces was born.
