"Wrapped in Rain" by Charles Martin

I discovered "Wrapped in Rain" at the book store when I was looking for a great story with a Christian perspective.  Once I started, I could not put the book down.  The writing style is honest and transparent about the real pain of abuse and the ripple effects it causes in the lives of everyone around the situation.  I was moved by the theology of Mama Ella and how beautifully it was depicted in this powerful work.  This is a wonderful redemptive piece with all the hope and truth of the resurrection lived out in the lives of the characters.  What a wonderful read!

What's up?

I have been doing a daily blog post on a blog with my friend Lori.  The purpose of the blog is to Build and to Edify.  I hope you will check it out.

I have also been adding photos to my Flickr account.  That you can check out here.

When Flickr updated their system they messed up the connection I had with Flickr and Typepad and for some reason I can no longer post to this blog directly from my Flickr account.  That is something that I really appreciated being able to do.

Anyway, I hope all is well with you as life continues on.  :)
