OK, if someone knows where the box with my dress pants is, would you please let me know? :D That is where we are this morning. Trying to figure out where things are. Chances are, they are in the garage. The movers got lazy and just started putting things in there. My dad describes the way they stacked the stuff in there as booby trapped the place. He went to get something and shelves started to fall over like we were watching a movie. So, I have been on a quest to get the stuff that is already in the house unpacked so that I can get to the danger zone of the garage. If we do not return in 24 hours, contact a search and rescue team.
I seem to be worrying people right about now. I tried to update my phone service to a local number here and all I have been able to do is get my cell phone not to work and the cell company to not respond to my calls. I am put on hold before I even speak to the first human being. Ughh! Well, sooner or later, I will have time to catch up with the emails and have phones that work. Until then, I will keep you updated here. Hugs!
Every move is an adventure. The movers came with half of the truck full already so they had to call in a second truck and our belongings came on two separate days. It has been a long, hot, tiring, time and only a few of the boxes have been unpacked. However, the renovations that were done to the house are beautiful and we are thrilled. I worked in my new office today. It is exciting to learn the ropes. The church has been extremely welcoming and friendly and have been amazing. They even lined the cabinet shelves before we got her. I will tell you more later when I get my computer set up. Have a great day!
